The Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) electives provide opportunities to develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors needed for 1- optimal nutrition and wellness across the lifespan and 2- successful career development in the area of education. The program provides laboratory experiences that foster leadership and group skills in the following areas:

• Education and Teaching as a career
• Foods and nutrition
