UNDER THE BIG TOP by Martin Follose 

SYNOPSIS:  

The bank is going to foreclose on the Marlow Little Big Top Circus unless Mr Marlow can get the loan repaid  in three days. But Leo the Lion Tamer is afraid of lions, David Copperflood, the magician, is claustrophobic,  and Dipsey and Slipsey, the trapeze artists, are afraid of heights. Two burglars just stole the little bit of  money the circus had saved for the loan. The circus performers are all trying to ban together to put on the  biggest and best big top performance of their lives while trying to catch the circus crooks before Mr  Hawkins, the bank president, closes the circus. Step right up for memorable fun with characters like Tipsy  Toe- The Rope Walker, Bertha-The Bearded Lady and a host of other unique characters.  

UNDER THE BIG TOP will be Directed by Becky Randazzo with Stage management by Constance Thomas,  and Costumes by Maria Dugan.  

AUDITIONS:  

Auditions with be held for actors in 6th-8th grade on TUESDAY, OCT. 5TH at 3:15pm in the auditorium.  There are only a specific amount of roles available, so unfortunately everyone may not be cast. If we are  not able to offer you a role in this production, you will still be able to sign up to participate on stage crew.  

PERFORMANCE:  

Performances are set for Nov. 19th at 7:30pm, Nov. 20th at 7:30pm and Nov. 21st at 2:00pm.  

REHEARSALS:  

Rehearsals will take place 2-3days per week from 3:15-5:30pm in the auditorium. Some Saturday rehearsals  may be included.  

AUDITION FORMS:  

Parents will need to complete the audition form in order for their child to participate.
