The mission of Cranford Public Schools is to promote

General Department Information
The Cranford Department of Special Services is responsible for the
provision of all services to students with disabilities. Specifically the department and
its staff:
Provide intervention consultation to schools for students who may be
exhibiting academic, social, or behavioral difficulties
Evaluate students with suspected disabilities or students who may be
in need of speech/language services
Facilitate the development of IEPs for students found eligible
for special education or speech/language services
Provide special education and related services as identified by
pupils IEPs
Provide case management services to ensure timely and appropriate
provision of services
