Cougar Pre-School
"Teens Teaching Tots and Tots Teaching Teens"
Service-Learning in Child Development
Child Development is a service-learning elective in the Family & Consumer Sciences Department in which students serve as teacher assistants in our Cougar Pre-School. Under the direction of a qualified teacher, these trained students conduct a pre-school for three and four year old preschoolers in our community. A strong parental component makes parents true partners in the early education of their children.
